My experiences as a teacher, a counsellor, as well as a mother and grandmother, give me an excellent background to be your Funeral Celebrant. I will listen, guide and advise you so that you can pay tribute to and celebrate your loved one's life. I love music and books and am keen to help choose the music and words which will enhance the occasion. I speak and read French but my fluency is only at Intermediate level. My qualifications include relevant certificates in Funeral Celebrancy, and I am continually adding to my professional competency. I love learning from the families I meet, knowing that each one is unique. I became a widow a few years ago, adding to my awareness of loss and grief. I can bring my life experiences to assist you and your family.
On behalf of my mother, brother and I, thank you for a lovely service yesterday in memory of my father. Thank you for your compassion and support throughout and direction on the day. ~ S.G.
Valerie - we just loved the way you helped the service flow; thank you for being meticulous and detailed in scheduling the funeral, it worked wonderfully! Some of our family and friends complimented on the graceful and dignified way you carried the service. Thank you for your beautiful words about us! You were a pleasure to work with and we were thankful to have you as our celebrant during such an important time for our family. ~ A. and J. Phoon.
I found you to be very professional, courteous and genuine. The feedback I had from the family was wonderful and they were very happy with your service. ~ Hariata Te puia. Funeral Arranger.
