I am based in Melbourne, I’ve been a celebrant for quite a few years, having trained at The Gordon in Geelong a decade ago. I am also a Funeral Director at Final Wishes Funerals and a qualified End-of-Life Doula.

I’ve always taken deep satisfaction in helping others and have never shied away from my core belief that all people are equal and have an innate dignity, both in life and death.

I have undertaken funerals at such diverse venues as all the chapels at Springvale, Faulkner and Bunurong, the Chapel of Repose (Altona) together with non-traditional venues such as golf courses, club halls, non-denominal chapels and so on... the list is too extensive to itemise here.

I was told when I was being trained that I had a great passion and empathy to be a Funeral Celebrant, and years later, it’s an area I still find personally rewarding to be able to help others in difficult times.

I'm not a 'cookie-cutter' celebrant. I pride myself in the knowledge that I get to know the person whose life we are celebrating and provide a bespoke service.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you Steve. You have played an integral role in honouring my parents’ memory. In these dark times for me and my sister, your kindness and compassion has been a guiding light that has helped us navigate our grief. And I would like to reiterate what we said in our meeting the other day... we are now friends.

When my wife passed, we had the choice of a great number of celebrants, but for me, there was only one person who could fit the bill in understanding, compassion, and kindness. My wife would have loved your professionalism. Thank you Steve.

Keith was a true movie buff and Steve's knowledge and understanding of Keith's passion shone through every aspect of the packed house funeral. Steve created a eulogy that brought Keith back to life for all the friends that knew him well.
