As a Funeral Celebrant, I like my services to be a Celebration of Life, an opportunity to say goodbye with all the warmth, love and affection that your loved one deserves. My services offer the opportunity to take the first tentative steps on your journey to closure and the acceptance of your loved one's passing.
I was born in Brisbane and now reside on Bribie Island. My background has been mainly in sales and marketing, the last 25 years in Real Estate. I hadn’t really ever considered becoming a Celebrant until I had several requests through my service as a J.P. which I’ve had since 1993.
Every time I attended a Funeral or Memorial, I felt like I wanted to be up there helping and it wasn’t long before I too became a registered Funeral Celebrant.
Now, a member of the Funeral Celebrants Association Australia, I take a huge amount of pride in my work and although challenging, there is not a day that goes by that I regret my decision to embark upon this journey. I really enjoy working with the Funeral Directors on Bribie and surrounds.
I find my own individual experience and knowledge really brings a uniqueness that you will not find anywhere else. I am passionate about what I do and I hope that shines through in my professionalism.
