Reviews Speak For Themselves!
I come from a background in the Justice business, and have qualifications in Social Work, Criminology and Music (piano). I am also a Justice of the Peace (since 1988), a Churchill Fellow, and an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant.
I am an accomplished public speaker and presenter, and speak with confidence and sensitivity. Feedback received following my services has been extremely complimentary, with people saying I have understood their feelings well, and have provided just the sort of Funeral Service they wanted for their loved one.
I have been performing Funeral Celebrations since mid-2020, and usually undertake 1-2 per week. I find my Social Work training helps me to relate really well to the families, with genuine warmth and empathy for the difficult time they are going through. It is an honour to work with families at such times, and I am happy to spend as much time as necessary to provide the service the family wants.
I always provide the family with a draft script beforehand, so they have the opportunity to ensure not only correctness, but also to add or delete information. I do not like surprises in a Funeral Celebration.
I gain much satisfaction from doing this work, knowing that families have been able to farewell their loved one as they had hoped. In addition, I find my Social Work training helps me to use the right words, and to ensure that the family’s wishes are being reflected in them.

We would like to thank you ever so much for your understanding and support prior to and most importantly during the wonderful celebration for H. you gave us last Friday. So many people attending commented to us how amazing it was to be there especially with the loving atmosphere that was created by your presentation.
We came away sad, but knowing that H. will always be remembered as a beautiful soul and is now resting peacefully. I will also be writing to Fred at Ern Jensen’s for their assistance, absolute professionalism and respect they provided through out H’s passing
Again, Grant thank you from the bottom of my broken heart. ~ Gary Preston
My sister and I wanted to pass on our thanks and appreciation for the role you played in helping bring together the celebration of life for our Mum.
It is a difficult time but it helped having warm introductions made to you and when we reached out the way in which you engaged with us and led us through things with empathy and care was appreciated.
You also kept us on task which made sure we were as organised as well as we could be....thank you!

I have just had that read out to me by my phone. I went cold. That is so so good. I'm lost for words. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you've done. Man that is so nice. When you thank others please please say along the lines I thank you for looking after the service. I know it's awkward when it's yourself but which ever way you feel appropriate I must publicly thank you.

Grant, I just wanted to write and thank you so much for the beautiful way you handled Mum’s funeral yesterday. You were so lovely and kind to all of us and did such a beautiful job. I’m sure Mum would have really liked you a lot. You made something very hard a lot easier for us, and for that we will be eternally grateful. Thank you for coming all the way out to XXX to meet with us, and for the gentle and sensitive manner in which you looked after us, particularly my Dad who is grieving the loss of his life partner, my beautiful Mum. Thank you so much for everything you did and said, you were amazing!
I just wanted to thank you again, Grant, for the lovely service you did for Michael. There have been so many viewings of the Funeral and all the comments have been that they laughed, they cried, that the service was beautiful and certainly found the essence of Michael. ~ Pam from Mernda
We tuned in to the funeral. So sad that numbers were so restricted but we just wanted to tell you how impressed we were with your presentation. Beautifully researched and very dignified. The closing poem was lyrical and so appropriate. Congratulations on it all...a moving and beautifully structured ceremony. ~ Chris and Phillip Castlemaine
Thank you so much for arranging such a special send off for our brother. Your sincerity and professionalism shone through the whole process. We were proud we had the right person farewelling our Bill. Our family all commented on what a lovely service Bill had. We can’t thank you enough.
