As your Funeral Celebrant, I will always conduct your Bereavement Service with dignity, warmth and empathy.

For me, working with families at this time and listening to the special stories you tell me, is a privilege.

I am always reminded of George Eliot’s words, 'Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them'.

So I am honoured to ensure that your final farewell, whether at a Chapel or a graveside, a scattering or interment of ashes, or a Celebration of Life Memorial, brings you peace and allows you to begin to remember without pain.

Working with your Funeral Director, it will be my privilege to help you craft a Funeral Service based on your (and your departed loved one’s) stories, beliefs and values, allowing me to bring the story of their life to family and friends with love, laughter, dignity and pride. Another favourite quote of mine is, 'When words are inadequate, have a ritual,' and the ritual of saying farewell to our departed loved ones gives us the place to open ourselves to our grief and sorrow. It allows us to share our grief, so that little by little, we can let go of our loss, but never our love.

So, let’s work together to craft a beautiful adieu that will bring you comfort - always and forever.

The sun rises in the east and so begins a brand-new day, at noon, the sun is high in the northern sky midway through its celestial arc, and then it slowly sets lowering away into the west.
So, too our lives are like the sun, we rise at birth in the East and live our lives, like the sun, in a great arc, drawing our strength from the four elements Air, Fire, Water and Earth, and then slowly, oh so slowly we wane down towards the West with the setting sun and end our earthly life in the West in the arms of our loved ones.
