The death of someone who has been a part of your life impacts the very fabric of who you are and it can create the greatest sadness, sense of loss and grief.
End of Life Transitions evolved from my desire to create a highly personalised funeral experience.
Working alongside you together we will co-craft a 'story' that reflects the uniqueness of the person you have lost. Whether a short or long life, a story of sadness or celebration. Or both.
Together we will create a ceremony that you will always want to remember.
The Shifting Sands
The tide comes in
The tide goes out
And as the water gently laps on the sand,
the sand moves…
never to be in the same place again.
And with each breath we take,
Our lives too will never be ‘in the same place’ ever again.
This brings with it a tide of change
And we either move with the change
Or choose to submerge and eventually drown.
Our hearts weep for what was had,
Foolish to think that things could stay the same…
But just like the sea and sand,
Nothing ever stays the same and
like the gentle ebb of the tide
We too must learn to be calm and still
and find peace and tranquillity once more…
Written by Jacqui Williams (2015)
In a time of pure grief with losing a loved one, Jacqui was a rock, providing genuine over and beyond compassion and support… A heartfelt eulogy to be remembered by all as she touched and comforted so many. You delivered the service beautifully.
Hello Jacqui... I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did. I could not have done this without you. You are such a special person. Thank you again for everything.
Dear Jacqui, many thanks indeed for your extraordinarily thoughtful and caring Eulogy for the funeral of my dear late brother. It surely couldn't have been composed with more empathy or sincerity. It seems I now have met someone new with a big heart like my brother.
Jacqui is just amazing. She has been helping, guiding and supporting me through the loss of my husband in a way that is kind, considerate, caring and unobtrusive. Her End of Life Doula work with those who are grieving is so important. What particularly impresses me about Jacqui is that she sees what she does as a privilege. It is not a job to her but a true calling. I count myself very lucky to have had her guidance and expertise in this difficult time in my life. I would strongly recommend Jacqui to anyone nearing the end of their lives and to their families. Her kindness and compassion will be of great value.
You delivered the service beautifully.
