Additionally, such ceremonies also provide the rare yet important opportunity to reminisce and celebrate a life. These functions are so very critical in the gradual healing process following a loss.

As such, family participation before and during the ceremony is considered to be very therapeutic - and is therefore encouraged within the comfort levels of the individual family members.
