Being adaptable is likely one of my strongest personality traits. When I meet families/friends of the deceased I never know what level of grief they are dealing with, what their relationship was like with the deceased, how many people will be in the meeting, (sometimes as many as 15 and other times one), how people will react to me ~ these are all variables and being stuck in your ways of this is how I do it, simply wouldn't work.

What an honour and privilege it is to be the person to guide and support you through one of the toughest times of your life.
Working closely with the Funeral Director and family (or friend) to create a bespoke service which reflects the beliefs of the deceased and their loved ones.
During our meeting, I will ask questions to give me an idea of the type of person your loved one was, then I compose a personalised service which reflects their personality and beliefs. We can incorporate prayer, songs, readings, poems anything really to make it as meaningful as possible.
Thank you for doing a great service for Dad on Thursday, it really meant a lot. ~ Teneale T
I have never really taken any notice of the person doing the funeral, but today I noticed you, how you were warm and friendly yet professional and poised, how you seamlessly invited people to speak, how you supported my Aunty Jane when she was struggling. Because of you today, I now have a new appreciation for what you do. It was a great service too. ~ Sarah R
That was a great send off for one of best mates, you did a really good job, thank you for doing him justice. ~ Rob M
I had no idea of where to start, what to do, nothing. You gently took control and guided me thoughfully and kindly, thank you for that, thank you for answering my dumb questions and for re-explaining a hundred times, especially thank you for the heads up of when they would lower the coffin, had I not been warned I doubt I would have coped at that time. I simply can't thank you enough. ~ Millie S
