Grief is heavy—but you don’t have to carry it alone.
I am here to walk with you, helping to shape a ceremony that is deeply respectful, healing, and truly reflective of your loved one’s unique life.
I worked as a Registered Nurse for many years and together with my husband of 47 years, I've raised a family of three children and now have grandchildren.
I’ve been a celebrant since 2010 and am blessed to have the opportunity to bring my wealth of life experience to your occasion. Creating meaningful ceremonies is something about which I am passionate. I love to help others and have a deep sense of social responsibility. I believe that a ceremony is an occasion for joy, even if this means it’s also a time to say goodbye.
As a professional funeral celebrant, I specialise in gently guiding families through this difficult time with compassion, clarity, and care. My role is to create a meaningful ceremony that not only honours the life lived, but also brings comfort, connection, and a sense of peace to those left behind.
Nothing truly prepares you for the loss of someone you love. It is one of life’s most profound and painful moments. At a time when emotions are raw and decisions need to be made quickly, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
What Makes My Service Unique?
• Truly Personal Ceremonies
I take the time to get to know your loved one’s story—through your memories, words, and wishes—so I can create a ceremony that reflects their essence. No two lives are the same, and no two farewells should be either.
• Inclusive and Participative
I believe in the power of participation. From readings to rituals, I will help incorporate voices, actions, and symbols that matter to your family and community. Together, we create a space for shared grief and collective remembrance.
• Guided Support in Every Detail
From writing the eulogy to choosing music, readings, rituals or photos—many families feel unsure where to begin. I offer practical, thoughtful guidance throughout and am happy to deliver key elements such as the eulogy if needed. I also have a wide range of curated readings and poems to help you find just the right words.
• Creative and Flexible Ceremonies
While chapels are common, they are by no means the only option. I am experienced in officiating ceremonies in parks, gardens, and homes, —wherever feels right to say goodbye. Whether it’s a traditional farewell or something more unconventional, I work to honour your wishes fully.
• Memorials and Living Funerals
Memorial services, held after the burial or cremation, offer time and space for a more relaxed, heartfelt celebration of life. I also support the growing practice of living funerals—where people gather with their loved one before their passing, to express gratitude, share memories, and say the things that matter most.
Please reach out when you’re ready. I’d be honoured to help.
Belinda conducted a service for my mother’s private funeral. She was so professional, respectful and compassionate on this sad day and paid special tribute to my mother’s elderly friends who were present in the front row. She gave me suggestions on how to write and deliver my eulogy. She is beautifully spoken and spoke with such reverence and my guests at the funeral were so impressed. I would not hesitate to contact Belinda and use her services again when a funeral arises. ~ Dearne.
I am so glad you were our celebrant as you embodied our values and delivered the service as we envisaged. Many thanks and best wishes.

Thank you, Belinda, you did a wonderful job with my father-in-law’s memorial. You spoke very well and were very comforting.
