Funeral Resources

Here you will find useful information to plan a funeral service for yourself or a loved one.

You will find the PLANNING A FUNERAL document useful to capture key milestones in your life, plus your funeral or memorial service wishes.  This will be helpful to write your eulogy.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE link gives you a general framework for a service.

There are ideas for MUSIC to play during a service, plus valuable Q&A's that may give you a better insight into service planning.

You may wish to contact a FCAA Celebrant member direct to pre-plan or conduct a service for you or a loved one. See our Celebrant Directory page.

AUSTRALIAN WEBSITE TOOLS - eziFUNERALS

eziFunerals is Australia’s only funeral advocate that helps consumers and funeral homes connect and collaborate anywhere, anytime.

We are an independent, Australian-owned and operated company, and are not a subsidiary of any other corporation. We are not part of any other funeral company. We do not conduct funerals, nor do we receive commissions from Clients final decision-making. Our mission is to provide independent, transparent and trustworthy information and advice, so consumers can understand their rights and make informed decisions.

Our funeral planning solution allows families to plan a funeral (either for themselves or a loved one) from the comfort of their home - anywhere, anytime. Without a funeral director being present.

The family get to prepare a comprehensive plan by completing a series of modules which lists:

● Person making the arrangements (relationship to the deceased, budget, payment method)

● Details of the deceased (in the case of an at-need funeral)

● Details of the committal (burial/cremation, cemetery)

● All their funeral choices (down to the finest detail)

When the funeral plan is complete, families then get to submit their request to Independent funeral homes within a 100km radius of their location. Funeral homes then get to review the clients request (they can either opt in or out) to quote.

We release the consumers plan to funeral directors who have 24 hours to provide an itemised quote (line by line) to conduct the funeral.

Consumers then get to compare each funeral director on service and price and select a funeral director that’s right for them. We believe our system can save families thousands of dollars by shopping around online, compared to contacting a funeral home direct.
