Family faced with funeral arrangements for a loved one may find the responsibility of preparing a funeral service extremely difficult, emotionally draining and upsetting. After all, it isn't something most people do every day, it is often unfamiliar territory. "How do I know what to say?" or "Should we mention this?".
An experienced Funeral Celebrant can really save the day and take the stress off your shoulders. It has often been said that the funeral service (or ceremony/celebration) is actually for the living, not the departed. With many years of experience dedicated to this role, I will visit you at home so that we can sit down together, and you can tell me the the important facets of your departed's life and career, and any special family moments or events that you want to have included. After I finish reading through my notes, I will craft a celebratory service to truly celebrate his or her life and achievements and offer words of consolation to those who are grieving. This will be sent to you as quickly as possible for you to check for accuracy, and we will work together to fine tune it. I work closely with your chosen Funeral Director to ensure the smooth running of your service.
We will discuss appropriate music to be played at the Chapel, along with readings, poetry, and speakers. I have plenty of resources to show you.
A commemorative copy of the service will be presented to the family, as a special memorial keepsake.
